SOLUMA's Daoist Sachet is a hand-embroidered silk pouch filled with a blend of traditional Chinese botanicals — a combination used in Daoist aromatic practice for over two thousand years. The blend draws from the same herb traditions that supplied Daoist mountain temples throughout the Song and Ming dynasties: aged agarwood for depth, dried sandalwood for warmth, white chrysanthemum for clarity, and mugwort for a faint green earthiness at the edges.

The scent is not perfume. It does not announce itself. It exists in the background of a day — in the pocket of a coat, in the drawer where you keep things you return to, on a bedside table where it releases its scent quietly into the hours before sleep.

In the Chinese tradition, the personal sachet was called xiang nang (香囊). It was not a luxury object. It was a daily companion — worn close to the body, present through ordinary hours, replaced when its scent had given what it could give. SOLUMA's refill herbs are available separately, so the pouch — which is embroidered by hand in Suzhou following traditional Chinese embroidery patterns — can be kept and refreshed as long as you choose to keep it.
